What to write on the card
four lines that are better than “best wishes”

Every Rasa gift leaves with a cream card, and Sudha writes your words on it by hand. The card is small on purpose. Four lines is enough; two is often better.
Say what the piece is for, not what it is. “For the first Diwali in the new house.” “For the tray you always borrowed from Ma.” “Because you remembered.” The object will explain itself; the card should explain you.
Avoid “best wishes”, “with compliments” and anything a company would write. Sign with the name they call you, not your full name. If you cannot think of a line, tell us the story of why you are giving it, and Sudha will find the sentence inside it.
with love,Sudha
